One of ninety-seven Hooper & Co. Empress saloons built on the 2 1/2 litre (DB18) Special Series chassis. These were actually quite 'cramped', and this was the only 4-door Daimler Empress model to be styled as a 4-light rather than a 6-light saloon. 608 of these chassis were produced in total, the majority of which were sold as Barker & Co. "Special Sports". |

This is only our second one. The other is a regular in French films 1960-66, usually with a Paris plate but for some unexplained reason it's RHD (12 sightings so far). |
