This scene is supposed to be in Istanbul, correct? Knowing it was filmed on location at least in Turkey (not necessarily Istanbul) I'd say 1922 Magirus from the Rahmi M. Koç Museum of Transport, before its vastly more period-accurate restoration: Link to "www.ekonomidunya.com" Don't know how many 1910s-1920s trucks there are in Turkey, but this one at least has the ribbed radiator top. The only other truck of that period I found there was a Magirus fire truck. EDIT: This truck is apparently a 1917 Albion - Link to "www.alamy.de" Link to "www.oguztopoglu.com" then the text was likely referring to the fire truck. From what I can gather, the truck was used after the war in Turkey and then put into storage. Scene at 13:39 to 13:44: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KzM99X-UPS4 It definitely looks like the truck, quickly fixed up with some old 50-70s parts, but I'm open for any other ideas (especially from the Brits) I guess the truck was still running after being in storage for so long, and they just fixed it up with what they could find.
