Hey, a rare and strange view: a non VW/Audi on the parking lot of the Volkswagen AG - and even a British car. Shocking! No kidding, the legendary VW-boss of the 50ies and 60ies, Heinrich Nordhoff had binoculars in his office in top floor of the VW factory. He always controlled the parking-lots with it. When he saw, that a VW-worker came with annother car than a VW, hat guy was called to go immediately to the "VW-god" himself to get a heavy dressing-down, why he don't drive a Volkswagen. It's a historical fact! -- Last edit: 2008-11-05 20:17:04 |

Mk II SD1 with (shining) leather seats, rear head restraints, overriders/headlamps washers... I'd say 1982+ Rover [SD1] Vanden Plas. 2600 or 3500. |

Well, without "Mk II" looks better. Roverists say "Series 2". My fault. :X |

No tints on a VdP = 2600, May 84+. Not sure if there was also a 2400 SD VdP for Europe - UK only had single version June 82 to Jan 86, but only a token effort here instead of the much stronger effort for Europe. |
