I'm not; I'm no expert in these things, but just because Reg mis-spelled the name doesn't mean he's wrong. I used to pass the R&H factory in Lincoln quite often in the 80s.

Rather it was Ruston Proctor and Co. Ltd. during WWI (Ruston & Hornsby from September 1918).
