I don't know, if the soldiers today are happy with it. It was quite new in the Bundeswehr, when I'made my military service there in 1990/91. Then it had some construction-deficits. For example the max.weight. 4 persons are allowed - but then no luggage. But it was much liked liked than the VW Iltis.
