YU 3247 is chassis NT3139. Note: there's some jumbled info on vintagebentleys.org for the page on a 1926 3-Litre YN 3245, chassis PH1463 which contains a 2003 Bonhams entry for YU 3247, which simply seems to be on the wrong page as both cars seem to have full separate histories. However this scrambles google searching for YU 3247. |

Both of these vintage Bentleys appear in the 1991 edition of “Members and their Bentleys” and I am able, therefore, to confirm that both registrations match the chassis numbers quoted by dsl. However the 4 1/2 litre is not currently shown in the 2025 members list. YN3245 appears to have received an engine transplant and it is now a 3/ 4 1/2. -- Last edit: 2025-03-29 17:13:34 |

An important question John. Since you are the RR and Bentley connoisseur quite literally by the book, I would like to request one that I recently read about. What was the order of Mr. Edward Parker of Miami Beach, Florida? |

Gamer, There is no one of that name in the 1991 list, which happened to be the first one I grabbed, nor does he appear in the 2025 electronic members list. Can you give me an approximate date, I have been a member of the Bentley Drivers Club since 1984. I also have no information on Royces, there is a separate club for those, the Rolls-Royce Enthusiasts Club. -- Last edit: 2025-03-29 16:29:56 |

His car has been 200 feet beneath the Atlantic since 1956, and he presumably went down with it. We know it's a Rolls-Royce, but I wanted to have a more exact picture before my eyes. -- Last edit: 2025-03-29 16:29:06 |

On the Andrea Doria? |

...Yes indeed. The other cars in the garage were 7 Lancia Aurelia B24 Spiders destined for testing the brand in the US market, and of course the legendary Chrysler Norseman. -- Last edit: 2025-03-29 16:45:28 |

We don’t seem to have any of the plethora comments that surrounded the loss of the Chrysler Norseman prototype, but the newest Royce at the time would have been a Silver Cloud 1, or a Silver Wraith. I’m sorry I have no more information. -- Last edit: 2025-03-29 16:48:59 |

It's okay. I just wanted to see if it was a newer one or possibly a prewar model. |
