johnfromstaffs wrote These are aftermarket wheel trims, or alternatively, the owner has painted them in a lighter colour. Wheeltrims were available then, and earlier, I spent much time with Brillo soap pads trying to buff up the trims on my Dads Slough built Citroën, and he sold that in 1955.
