The single deck bus behind the Wolseley.

The body reminds me of a Guy Special used by London Transport although the bonnet and headlamps look to be different? Perhaps a bus expert can identify it. The location is a London railway terminus, Waterloo Station.

Looks to me to be a Bedford OB

And to me. The Guy I think Sunbar has in mind has headlights faired into the wings. I seem to remember Bedfords like this being used by the Metropolitan Police.

Possibly a Bedford OB, although body by the shape of the windscreen is unusual for an OB.

Divided at the top on the driver's side and with rounded corners the windscreen could indicate the body maker?

The bus could be a 'Police' version but the 'prisoners' being transported were actors, even in the documentary, so the 'police' car is possibly a stand-in also.

Reused from /vehicle_420073-Bedford-OB-1948.html
"KGH 481 Bedford OB Duple B27F (chassis #92153 body #49971) was new to Metroplitan Police, London SW1 11/48" - seems to have lived out its later years in deepest Wales.

Deepest Wales, the final home of many OB buses, and why not? They were cheap to buy and reliable and the spares were available from garages everywhere. The vehicle industry seems to have forgotten about the parameters used when they designed such buses.

GOU 887, an OB new to Hants and Sussex in March 1949, cost £1367.
