Au contraire, it looks to have survived the roll-over pretty well. But even just looking at the main thumb... yeah, this car wasn't in the best of shape. |

Actually they didn't show any roll-over. After the car jumps over a road, the scene cuts to a shot of the Studebaker laying on its roof. I assume the director (or a stunt coordinator) intended for the car to naturally flip over after performing a stunt, but it failed. My theory is that they probably flipped the car over with the forklift afterwards. You can see the dent on the passenger's side door and a torn hole on the passenger's side front fender as seen in 5th and 6th thumbnails. |
