I guess for All of these Landspeed cars, the close shots are studio mock-ups and the race shots are all CGI -- Last edit: 2008-10-14 09:54:51 |

I agree - I've never seen any LSR or high-speed cars like these before. This one looks like they built a full-size mock-up and used CGI for the moving shots, whereas the other ones look as though they are all CGI, apart, perhaps, from the close-up cockpit shots. Checking the IMDB shows a crew of 20 on the digital video effects department. |

Hmm, looks like a plane crashed into a large drain pipe being lifted into the air by a crane. Then fell into a vat of red paint. |

The red one doesn't look all that far removed from the type of car Craig Breedlove built. |

From the front there is one big engine and from the back there's three small ones...Not very realistic. -- Last edit: 2008-10-14 20:00:53 |

They are either 'made for movie', or computer animations. Neither of them would work even in theory. |

By the way, this movie vehicle now rests where Ruberta Avenue meets the Amtrak mainline in Burbank... |

The prop vehicle is still sitting at coordinates 34.166082, -118.290566. |
