It looks like 1964 Dodge Polara 500, but those white reversing lights should be in the middle. |

Why do the steerin'wheel has been placed on the left-side and not on the right-side,as it usually must be the use in Japan? |

Probably because the car was built with LHD and it would cost too much to convert it. I've seen people import American cars into Japan and keep the LHD. The '92-'95 Ford Taurus for example was imported into Japan by a few people and they kept the 6-passenger configuration and LHD, but changed the lights and mirrors to conform to the laws. |

It's fairly common to keep LHD cars that way when imported into a RHD country, unless the local rules say otherwise. Singapore won't allow any LHD cars to be imported permamently. |

Yes, in the 1950's to 70's, american imports to japan, were not modified except for mirrors and maybe indicators |
