| The original first Benz car was built 1885 and first used on public roads in 1886. Today this is being regarded as the first combustion engine vehicle. The vehicle in the picture is one of the replicas produced for the centenary. Daimler and Benz merged in 1926. The two pioneers never even met in their lives. |
