I have no evidence whatsoever, but could this be a Mahindra? |

It is a local version of the Massey-Ferguson 35. I presume they still make them there even though they finished in England in about 1962. They were also built somewhere in eastern Europe as they seemed to be the transport of choice(?) of refugees during the Bosnian War about 1990. |

The MF 35 was manufactured under licence in India by TAFE from 1961: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/TAFE_Tractors The licensee in the former Jugoslavia was IMT: /vehicles.php?make=IMT&model=533&modelMatch=1&modelInclModel=on |

No, garco, I don't think so. The Mahindra seems to be a licence-built International Harvester model, and if you look at the front - specifically the grille - and the wheels of this one it's clearly a MF 35 derivative. -- Last edit: 2008-10-06 09:49:32 |

I say we list the make as TAFE-Massey Ferguson. Origin GB, built and made for India. |
