I was absolutely amazed and so excited to find this page while looking for my late fathers Armstrong Siddeley.

As you can see from the photo, my father was once the proud owner of the vehicle that appeared in the 1950's film Stage Fright. This Armstrong Siddeley was his absolute pride and joy. This photo was taken in March 1959 although I'm unsure how long he owned the car for. My mother and father enjoyed many days out in this amazing car, around London, Kent and Sussex. My father loved to tell the story of how he sold it so that he could marry my mother in Dec 1959. Sadly neither my mother or father knew of his cars appearance in an Alfred Hitchcock film. I know that they would both have been in their element in telling myself and my 6 siblings all about this. It would of certainly added to an already wonderful story of the history of such an awesome car. A great story to pass on to our future generations.

JLO 258 now confirmed, so London, Oct 47 to July 51 "allocated in blocks". No stoneguard rubbers on rear wings so before Sept 48.
