As this film was made in 1979 and a RR Corniche II would have been built between 1986(in Europe) and 1989, this car is actually an early RR Corniche produced after 1974, but before 1979 - the date of the film. Just a detail. |

A look at the facia shape, bumper with dedicated number plate fixing, the absense of a passenger side outside mirror, and the headrests, indicate it is a late 1976-1978 Corniche. The tyres, with the very thin-lined white stripes, indicates a car earlier than are reminiscent of the late 1976 and 1977 model year cars, as depicted in the factory brochures. |

You are absolutely right : bumpers are ugly on this corniche and all shadows II. Anyway the movie is pleasent and both Dudley Moore and Julie Andrews are great. This movie made BO DEREK famous worldwide ! |
