Looks GM to me - maybe 1940 Buick? |

It is a 1939 Chevrolet Station Wagon. Link to "cgi.ebay.com" What we can see of the trim on the hood sides didn't match Buick. It is odd though that there is no spare on the right fender which all the pics I have found show. Maybe it was an option which restorers always add in. -- Last edit: 2008-09-11 10:13:39 |

This page states that the fender mounted spare was standard (perhaps there was no room in the back?) http://auto.howstuffworks.com/1939-chevrolet.htm but I still think this is a 1939 Chevrolet. |

I suppose it is possible that they just removed the spare for these close up shots to allow the door to open fully. |
