How are we going to list this? Not very probable that such a Lincoln was imported to Hungary when new... |

You may be right DynaMike, it is probably aftermarket |

Or made to meet legislation in some Western European country before it was exported to Hungary... |

Was it actually sold in Europe? Or is it just an aftermarket modification for private import? |

That is really a good question, antp |

Maybe it was imported to Switzerland? They always had a big faible for US-cars. I have seen a few of these Lincoln's over here during the years (and I still own the Matchbox one ), so I think, there was not a real official import, but if you wanted to have a one, you could arrange it with a private importer or with a big Ford-dealer, which offers US-Ford's, too. From an old school-friend, who is now sales manager at a big Opel-dealer, I've heard, that there it was/still is possible to arrange the extra import of single US-GM-cars, due a special order from this dealer. -- Last edit: 2010-03-30 20:50:14 |

Not an official import. That's an aftermarket amber turn signal adapted onto the original reflector bracket. -Kurt |
