Not Defender yet. Has 2-split windscreen, and front end is modified. Also older roof and door handles. |

Difficult to pin down, but a Series III of some sort, possibly dressed up. Doesn't look like one of the Federal/NAS batches, as normal sidelights. Wild pint is one of the batch of 25 Series III Stage 1 V8 88" Station Wagons built in 1980 as a special order batch for Jamaican police (allegedly), but the order was cancelled so they were shipped out to Trinidad & Tobago instead and sold off. These were the only official Stage 1 88" made, and a book pic looks pretty much identical (grille, double roof, station wagon top with upper windows, RHD). Apparently most of them survive as highly-prized enthusiasts examples, as they were very zoomy with the V8 in swb body. A long shot but tempted to enter it to see what happens? Any location clues welcome. |

A second unit filmed in Northern Ireland, but everything involving the cast would have been faked in California. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sons_of_Anarchy_season_3#Production |

Yeah, this was definitely shot in California, judging by the surrounding flora alone. Here's a closer look at the car. ![]() |
