A Coupe, or rather Hardtop Coupe, has no b-pillars above the beltline, so when you lower the windows, there is a huge unobstructed opening, similar to a convertible with the top up. A 2-door sedan has a b-pillar and often an upper doorframe. When you lower the windows on these, the b-pillar remains in place, so you have two smaller openings.

A coupé should not have a sedan-like trunk (fastback) and should not have an extra window after the door. But in lots of cases, they have at least one of each.
Classification of 2-door cars is difficult, because each make may use the name "coupé" for different things.

That's not an Impala, it's too basic. Probably a Biscayne.

There is also a 61 Dodge behind it. And whooshing by is a 1964 or 65 Thunderbird.

Also, there appears to be a 1958 Pontiac parked along the building on the image's right side.
