Has the front of a 1938-1939 Morris |

It either is, or is pretending to be, a Morris 'Tilly' - note the post-war military registration. |

The detail looks to be right for it to be an actual "Tilly", on the Morris Ten Series "M" mechanicals. The registration number is from late 70s or early 80s I think, but military vehicles have to be re-registered in UK when sold out of service and the age related offers from the DVLA always look odd, so if the vehicle is not to be used on public roads why not fake it? |

its a genuine ex ww2 Morris Tilly, .probably filmed in one of the old Dominion countries, the tilly being surplussed onto their market, then re used by a civillian.probably registered in Morrocco following release by British forces based there. -- Last edit: 2008-08-26 19:15:33 |

It might have been left behind by British forces in Morocco at the end of the Second World War, which AFAIK is the only time when we had a military presence there. More likely, it was hired from a collector in Britain. |
