This is bothering me a lot. Can anyone find any kind of site where you can find this kind of information for American license plates?? It would help the site immensely. I don't understand why so many EU countries would have this information open to the public but the US wouldn't, especially since the US is supposed to be more "free" and "open" about information than many other countries (though I suppose this is not always true). Very strange indeed... :think:

We only need one of our American members to be employed in law enforcement or some branch of government with access to such information (FBI, CIA, NSA, etc.). Anyone? :)

That is ture, yes. The government can be quite sneaky. But I didn't really think that'd be the case for simple car regestration info like this...
