LTD was the top of Ford Australia's Falcon based range. Built on the long wheelbase Falcon (wagon) platform, and was higher in spec that the Fairlane. They were usually only purchased new by Hire car companies and Federal Government for Ministerial transport. Interesting anomoly - This model LTD was never fitted with a V8 engine, as advertised by the dealer on the windscreen card.
