109" for sure, could be a series 11A, not sure of the difference

It's for sure a 109". But determining if it's a S-II or IIA is very hard. The only major different was the engine, the petrol grew from 2L to 2.25L.

I can date this a bit closer. The chrome ring headlights make it as a Series 2 built between 1958 and 1961, or suffix A Series 2A built in 1962 or 1963. I can just make out the front apron panel is the short flat type introduced in 1960, and I'm also fairly sure the bulkhead vent flaps have the small welded hinges introduced in 1961 rather than the earlier large screwed on type. This means the Land Rover is either a 1961 Series 2 or a 1962/1963 Series 2A.

Incidentally, the major differences between the Series 2 and 2A were the front axle steering arms, the diesel engine (increased from 2 to 2.25 litres) and the addition of a second fuse in the fusebox. the petrol engine was already 2.25 litres in the Series 2, but it did undergo a number of internal changes that mirrored the new diesel engine.
