sixcyl ◊ 2005-10-30 11:11	je ne pense pas qu' en l' occurrence Rickshaw soit plus légitime et officiel que Tuk Tuk, qui est une appelation d' origine plus est-asiatique peut-être? (je ne connais pas...Thailande, Indonésie?...) J' ai bien peur que si l' on trouve le nom officiel d' un véhicule de ce type, il risque ne pas s'appliquer pour tous. Les productions étant très fortement locales, voire plus ou moins artisanales?

Vijay and Bond is on their way to meet Q, but Kamal's henchmen chases after them in another one of theese cars, and there is a wild chase.

greybear ◊ 2007-09-07 23:43	Tuk Tuk is the generic name and is, as Richard suggests, derived from the sound of the engine. The name Tuk Tuk is used all over Asia. I don't think that there are any recognised manufacturers but that these vehicles are built in small workshops or by their owners. The Wikipedia entry is useful. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tuk-tuk
