This is probably a Chateau model due to the chrome grille and the hubcaps as well as the chrome trim around the taillights as well as the chrome "FORD" letters across the rear doors. |

Ddey65, I'm not sure if the 2nd is a licence plate but it looks like one. In those days commercial vehicles needing to be registered in multiple states would carry multiple number plates. I have seen semi trucks and trailers with half a dozen. The advent and popularisation of the Interstate system made this redundant and ultimate unnecessary. Maybe this van is supposed to be a commercially-registered truck. |
