My mistake, I thought the question pertained to the pick up. One day, I aspire to be as perfect as some others on here think they are..... This website, until recently was very enjoyable. Now it seems, it is full of pathetic people waiting to snipe. |

I-H looks ok for the pickup. About 1935. Is the subject vehicle a convertible? I think not, those landau irons look like add ins to me. |

well, sorry that you took my comment this way but my astonishment was legitimate as i know them for trucks but back then they could have produced other vehicles that my limited knowledge of this era's products is not aware of. Thanks Gamer for the links ![]() -- Last edit: 2023-09-23 20:13:49 |

I agree, 1930/1 Hudson. In the UK, the style of coachwork would most likely be referred to as a "Faux-Cabriolet". Hudson termed the body style "Brougham". |

Purely my personal view as the admins are a loose collective and my position is very lowly, but I would not wish to see you leave. |

Don't overreact, daimlere20 - there are several things and people (well, mostly people) on this site that frustrate me to the point of almost quitting, but ultimately I enjoy the site to the extent that it's easy to ignore those little things and little people. |

Nor me. Your niche expertise is invaluable - beyond what the rest of us can provide - and I'd encourage you to widen your niche as reading between the lines you might have more areas of insights to provide. The site always needs "good guys" who fit in with the spirit of what we're trying to achieve. Ride the ripples, they'll fade away ... |

I mean, I didn't intend on saying that to sound rude, making it look like it was against you in particular, or in a hurtful manner, daimlere20. I wouldn't want to see you leave either. So I'm also sorry if I made you feel targeted as well. ![]() |
