DynaMike ◊ 2008-06-28 23:20	1973+ with this front. This is a rather uncommon version (usually they had sliding doors). Maybe a Brazilian import ? (also because of the very 'modern' windscreen taht is darker on the top.
Ingo ◊ 2008-06-29 09:34	I agree. It's not a German made 1973-1979 T2b. Also the colour was typical for the Brazilian ones. Strange, because it's the first importetd Brazilian Transporter, I see in Germany. If you find some of these new T2's (only a few dozens exist over here), they're mostly Buses.
Alexander ◊ 2008-06-29 10:19	It is a Brazilian made T1 mixed-model. It has the body and rear end of the T1 and the front end including front axle of the T2 and was produced from 1975 to 1997. Since 1997 the T2c model is being produced in Brazil, identifiable by it's different roof. Brochure pictures show that by 1980 latest it had different, simpler plastic bumpers, so this must be an earlier version.
