 Yup, that's an early 'Omniel' double-cab hearse by Binz GmbH & Co. KG of Lorch, Germany, commissioned by Binz UK. These first appeared in 2004. Queen Elizabeth II's coffin was taken from Balmoral to Edinburgh with a later model, which is why these Binz hearses have become somewhat iconic in the UK since then.

 @AnimatronixX: unfortunately a pic was not possible - a few days ago I spotted a W123 hearse in regular usage in front of our church.
Now I will look around, from which undertaker it is.

Not from the local one - that's a rusty, stinking 1st gen Vito, which made me angry at the funeral of my wife's uncle some years ago :mad:

 Hm... I don't know. Even though I often take care of the Hymermobil, the GMC MotorHome/ TransMode and a few special cases on this site, I'm not very knowledgeable in the field of campers and motorhomes (+ I have zero interest in GDR-stuff whatsoever).
