2008-06-17 21:21 | 1951 Ford. Looks to me like a Custom Victoria hardtop coupe [60]. |
2008-06-18 12:07 | AL-62-38 is a Ford Victoria according to RDW. 1951. Did you check the license Mike? ![]() License is not correct in this movie... |
2008-06-18 12:14 | No, I didn't. I guessed it was a Victoria because of the two-tone paint and the way these two tones are divided. The Crestline was also two-tone, but slightly different at the corners over the windscreen. ![]() Edit: And yes, license plate with AL-xx-xx is a plate for recently imported oldtimers (like DE, DH, DL, DM, AE, AH, AL, AM, and BE for oldtimer trucks or commercial vehicles) -- Last edit: 2008-06-18 12:17:33 |
2008-06-18 13:20 | So the registration number is an anachronism? ![]() |
2008-06-18 14:16 | It is, but most oldtimers in Holland are recent imports and will have a license like this. Original 1952 plates would have been NK, NP or NT, or still an old-system province number (B in Friesland). If this would have had an original number it would most probably have been built in the Amsterdam factory. |
