I'd think you guys would want it/need it more than us! Dumb legislation. More accurately, it's GSO (i.e GCC Standards) requiring all windows to be non-tinted or something of sort. It's definitely not a GM thing only as other manufacturers have done the same thing as well (e.g Toyota Highlander). On a national level, local laws regarding the level of (aftermarket) tints varies considerably between one country and another.
