They were built in Argentina, but is there any visible difference with the French version? E.g. those blue dark windows, were they original or was it a private, aftermarket thing? |

IIRC the early Argentine 504s were indistinguishable from the French ones, although later they differed quite a lot - particularly in respect of head, tail and sidelights. The windows are what Ingo (reluctantly) told us is called in German Fickfolie -- Last edit: 2008-06-16 15:33:39 |

Some (probably most) of the film was shot in Spain. (The Spanish government offers financial incentives for film production.) http://us.imdb.com/title/tt0314197/locations -- Last edit: 2008-06-16 19:18:13 |

If so, that's not a bad try at faking a Ciudad de Buenos Aires number-plate of the period. http://www.worldlicenseplates.com/ |

The plate could be genuine even if this scene was filmed in Spain. -- Last edit: 2008-06-16 21:52:52 |

Looks Argentinian made for me. This mix of early doo handle and new Lion on the grille, single bumper, slightly different headlight... |

This scene is in Argentina, in the province of Buenos Aires. |
