Churchill frequently rode around in a '37 Packard Twelve with Erdmann & Rossi coachwork (with the plate H-37), but this does not appear to be it. Certainly does appear to be of the 1936-1937 period though. If the aforementioned Blighty would munch his cigars slightly to the left or the right I might have a chance to identify it properly. |

this is a real news sequence inserted into the film when he arrives in Yalta, round 2th feb 1945 here at 01:32:26 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GSHFvhHB2DI but I'm not sure it's his Packard, here's another news where we see him getting out of another car Here at 03'19" https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d-LGV8uEcr4 ![]() we see a convertible in the background always in those same news at 03'41" ![]() Btw, for the cigar I would rather say on the left; no idea about brandy ![]() -- Last edit: 2023-03-31 18:41:45 |

Thanks for the link - it's a 1936. There are some odd triple horns obscuring the view, but the general hood details resemble a Twelve. First thumb is a '38 Packard Six. |
