The one with the cattle skull looks like a '46 Chrysler. The other one looks like a Hudson. |

This car was originally owned by actor Duncan Renaldo who played the Cisco Kid in movies and TV in the 40s-50s. Several web sites identify it as a 1948 Chrysler Town and Country. |

Yes, 1946-1947 (1948 was already the step-down model). Convertibles came as Super Six Brougham or as Commodore Eight Brougham. I don't know how to tell them apart... |

The only way I have figured out is that there is a small emblem at the front of that chrome trim strip on the side of the hood. One style for Six and one for the Eight. This one looks like the Super Six but I can not be sure. |

Super Six would be most probable: circa 2500 were built in these two years, and only circa 500 Commodore Eights. |
