:D

Land-Rover 80" Series I for sure, but impossible to give an exact year. I'll choose the year of introduction.

Alex, I'm not asking you to read my mind, but why did I think (although I wasn't certain enough to commit myself) that this might be a 107"/109" Series I pickup? (Cab roof, maybe?)

A bit of mind-reading? No problem, Chris! [Image: zauberer_2.gif]

The aftermarket cab on this one has a similar shape to the standard cab of the 107"/109". Also the white board with black writing behind the cab makes it look like the higher rear sideline of the 107"/109".

But there are three reasons why it is an 80":
1st: You can see both wheels. The rear axle is to close for a LWB.
2nd: Note the triangle in the white bit of the door. This is a piece of canvas where you poke through your hand to open the door. The early LRs had no outside door-handle.
3rd: This film is from 1952, the 107" arrived in 1954! ;)

[:prosterne] ... I think the dunce smiley should be added to the permitted ones (I can't get it to work). But then maybe I'm the only one prepared to admit I'm an eejit :/

Don't admit something you're not! You are certainly one of the excellent identifiers around here ... and for all of us this place is a wonderful place to learn an awful lot ... I certainly did and will keep on learning just by trying to correctly identify vehicles I haven't seen before.
