Probably also made in GB at Kew using Canadian-sourced CKD. Book refs are slightly vague, but Kew started assembly from 1928 and the 66 had a unique to UK 3.2 engine instead of usual 3.6. Apparently Kew-builds (also Dodge, de Soto, Plymouth and Imperial) did not reach the threshold of 65% local content to qualify as British-made until 1931, but as nearly everything came from Canada, there were no duty implications. |
