Yes, they were modified in 1992 to include the Ukrainian i and I think another letter, and in early 1993 the first UA x1234y plates were issued. But this is all unimportant, as this is a travel plate issued by all republics. |

Soviet style plates were being issued in Ukraine in 1991-1992, in 1993-1994 they were being issued with UA strip on the left, early ones had no flag included |
