the cab is unique to HME and if you google Grumman it's based on HME

according to this they used Panther chassis supplied from HME

Quote Grumman built a full line of apparatus on commercial and custom chassis. It introduced its own line of aerial devices in 1982 and a custom Panther chassis from HME in 1988.

Based on what I could find, Grumman partnered with HME to design and build the Panther chassis beginning in 1989. Grumman then closed down their fire apparatus manufacturing in 1992, in which HME launched the 1871 series that same year following Grumman’s departure.

So I’d guess that anything 1989-1991 would be Grumman, and 1992 and up would be HME.
