What a shame! 1957 Plymouth Fury's were rare even when new, and this one's equipped with the ultra-rare bumper guards that are worth about $500 each now. I guess if Halicki hadn't destroyed this one, John Carpenter may have when he filmed "Christine" three years later in the same town! They did customize some right hand vehicles for australian export. I don't know if they converted any genuine fury's though. It is a shame. it looks like that car was a genuine fury with the Fury trim and bumper guards as mentioned above. Now I have to see the movie... |
