The make is Bombardier and Skidozer the model.

Most Skidozers I found are 252G:
http://www.sotc.com/specsheets/bombi_img/skidozer.1.gif
but at least one image show a 301 model:
http://www.marambio.aq/fotos/displayimage.php?album=6&pos=28
and a forum talking about a 1972 301g and a 1978 301:

According to this forum
Link to "www.outpost31.com"
there is also a Thiokol Imp 1404, Bombardier Skidozer 302 and a Caterpillar -- all snow tractors. Any images?

Briefly (because I just lost my last post...)

Yes, there are two Bombardiers, plus the OD Caterpillar dozer. One is clearly mis-dialogued as a Thiokol, when they end up in the Skidozer 301, with its badging between headlights, and yellow snowblade. also seen right when the Norge chopper lands, and later on after they lock Blair in the tool shed. The second is the 302-HD, its badging seen on the lower-left of the can w/ Bombardier between the lights, its black blade making the berm before they torch all the remains and the " Where's Blair? " comment. So the line about Blair wrecking the chopper and snowcat (sounded like snowCAT, not CATS, to me) left one to 'escape' in, if the packed it with fuel and some food.

And IMHO, see the 2011 'prequel' as its very faithful to Carpenter's version/vision, right down to the endtitles scenes that link the two. I won't blow it with any spoilers though.
