pilou ◊ 2006-01-06 12:06	Yes , this one is a Canadian Meteor Niagara 4 door sedan of 1954.It was built by the Ford Motor Company of Canada probably still in the Windsor factory before their move to Oakville.Contrary to the US Fords which received the new overhead valve engine in 1954 , the Canadian Meteor still had the old flathead V8 engine .Meteors were in essence rebadged Fords and were distributed through the Canadian Mercury Lincoln dealers to allow them to sell a cheaper car line . In most encyclopedias they are listed as a separate make as is also the Monarch , rebadged Mercury sold through Canadian Ford dealers.
