I would say it's an ID because it appears to me the car has the small hubcaps and a non-painted roof? This type of door handles were introduced september '71. -- Last edit: 2008-04-28 09:13:30 |

This will be the same as seen here: /vehicle_171120-Avanti-1984.html (cf. the vertical chrome protection strips on the doors). 1972 was indeed the first model year with those door handles (and the last year DS's were sold in the US). By then, the name ID wasn't used anymore, and I'm not sure wether the basic DSpécial and DSuper were sold overthere anyway... |
