It's black, which could suggest an Irmscher version, but there's something written on the rear door. And I wouldn't be surprised if this was an Aska Kagemscher, a second-hand Aska refurbished by Isuzu's own used car sales subsidiary to look like an Irmscher and resold at a premium. Only 150 were made, but it was considered a success, and the "Mscher" treatment was applied to most of the Isuzu range in the late 1980s. https://twitter.com/jibikenn/status/690504756482039808 (picture proof of the Mscher range) I've been aware of this rather obscure Isuzu trivia for a while, but I've just found today this complete and detailed description of the operation. It's in Japanese, but it's well worth the online translation. http://sabitori.com/jreast/small-talks/nonfiction/mscher-series/ -- Last edit: 2022-10-03 19:40:04 |
