The evident differences in appearance are modified front and back side,but in general both cars are alike. ingo, Lancia couldn't be a Volgo-copy, cause such Volga's grill and front lights for the first time appeared in 1997's 3110.
AOLJU ◊ 2013-01-07 20:07	That cheap russian car crashes lots of times during the chase scene and it continues running. The G-Class crashes one time... and gets destroyed. It's not very realistic, but the chase is great.

I was in Russia and I can say that Volga is local equivalent to American fullsize car

I know that in English it's the same word but in fact it's not the same thing. The fact that the GAZ 3110 is a comparatively low-priced car doesn't makes it a bad and unreliable car. The low price is justified by the lack of unnecessary features.

Lennart ◊ 2014-04-15 21:20	For the stunt-scenes this car was equipped with a 3.0 Liter BMW-engine and an automatic gearbox. It was brand new and it has gone only 186 km when the scenes were taken...
