DAF555 ◊ 2006-01-05 20:17	I think it was modelyear 1966 for the Transit, 1965 still was the Taunus Transit FK xxxx. If the diesel engine was introduced in the beginning I don´t know.

DAF555 ◊ 2006-01-06 18:12	Production began in august, and introduction to the market in Britain on october 9. For Germany introduction was december 9 according to this source: http://www.transitvanclub.co.uk/markone.htm I seriously doubt that they sold as 1965 models at that point.
