Hi, I don't know if this is the spot to say so - but what a terrific website! Your question as to the year of the "Underclassman" Corvette: It can be very tough to differentiate between the '65 and '66 Vettes, but, '66 was the only year in which the "Sting Ray" script appears on the hood. 1966 was also the introduction year of the "eggcrate" style grill, after the "bar" style had been used for '63 - '65. The hood script would make the "Love Bug" Sting Ray a '66 as well... Once again kudos on an awsome site! -Autogeezer |
