I thought the Special and Century didn't have the rear quarter lights, the Limited had different trim, leaving this to be a Super Riviera [53] or a Roadmaster 75 Riviera [75]: http://www.everyoneweb.com/buick58/ (see: Buicks in Nederland, then click on the pics on the right of the series names). -- Last edit: 2008-04-12 17:47:42 |

I thought 'quarter light' is the name for the small windows in the doors. According to the pics in teh link the Special and the Century had rear doors with a one-piece window, the Super and Roadmaster 75 had rear doors with wind-down window + small fixed window, like on this pic from The Hitchhiker. |

I see then. There aren't any rocker mouldings, so this would surely be a Super IF the car wasn't 30 years old at the time of filming.
