Wow.... Type is 223, Microbus, registered as VW Buss in Norway. Then the fun begins: Registration date is December 8, 1958, just before the taillights were lowered and moved outwards. This is a match. Front indicators will have to be added later. Body is also made before 12/60 (on December 29th they switched to lower cargo door hinges), no significance here. Chassis number on the other hand is within the 1961 range, so we are seemingly looking at a frame swap - the floor pan - where the original date of registration for body is listed. List as 1958 VW Buss? |

No, in German it's Bus, as you said, but in Norway this was called 'Buss', in Norwegian spelling |
