It is the one. I've found some more photos of this car here: Link to "www.asmonzaracing.com" The page says it's chassis 160 from 1968. But there's a problem. Lola chassis lists websites say chassis 160 is a "continuation" model built in 2007. http://www.lolaheritage.co.uk/2018/register/t70coupe.html http://lolat70.com/chassis/ And this auction site says chassis 160 wears a red body, not very dark green like our car. https://www.classicdriver.com/en/car/lola/t70/1969/786367 And in this interview, the owner/driver says he bought the car in 2007. Maybe there are 2 chassis 160s?? Seems fairly solid that Continuation 160 is the red/white one, built 2006. But there's another reference here to green #3/Jason Wright being 160/1. Possible solution at bottom of this list that chassis SL76/160 was sold as a bunch of spares in 1990s(?) to Australia (so not a completed car or formally acknowledged as a properly assigned number) and this is what became the green #3/Jason Wright car. Noted also from that list that SL76/161 seems to have been another backdoor departure as a batch of spares going to US, but there is also a Continuation 161. |
