the canvas covered truck in the thumbnail..isnt the vehicle which gets blown up on the bridge..the large pic above shows how, just before the explosion, the truck in the thumbnail has been replaced by an old dodge powerwagon disguised with an over large canvas tarp in order to disguise it as the truck in the thumbnail!...the truck in the thumbnail appears in one of the other pics..i think its a 1950s civilian chevrolet or Dodge, borrowed from the mexican army..probably why they didnt destroy it in filming...the same Chev/Dodge appears when rambo walks into the distance as the end credits roll. -- Last edit: 2008-04-04 16:56:02 |

That bridge must be an abandoned potion of the Calif. highway system like US 101. (Here is one on old CA 76) http://www.westcoastroads.com/california/images075/ca-076_bonsall_bridge_09.jpg -- Last edit: 2008-04-04 17:28:43 |

Are you sure, 58Roadmaster? The IMDB says this was filmed in Mexico. Could it be a bridge in Mexico built to a similar design? |

Of course I can't be sure, Mexico it is then! Does draw one's attention to the infamous Bridge to Nowhere, however. http://www.dankat.com/advents/eastfk.htm |

Looks like two Dodge M601s behind the Jeep. |
