The film was shot in Australia so "made for USA" should be deleted unless there is positive evidence for it. |

A) Last car on the right is a 1963 Corvette. Here is the real one, parked in Graceland- Link to "scontent.fmga3-2.fna.fbcdn.net" B) The 1968 mustard Cadillac El Dorado convertible parked behind the black Lincoln limo was one of the two cars (that we know for sure...LOL) he actually shot at, the other being a yellow De Tomaso Pantera. For the Caddy, it all started during one of his then wife's most important visits to the hospital just prior to her giving birth to their daughter and the car, inspite of being brand new, wouldnt start. Elvis waited until they returned it to Graceland, shot it once and then gifted it to his father in law with the promise that he would never fix the damage done. And it has remained so for over a half a century. Here is the bullit. Link to "scontent-mia3-1.xx.fbcdn.net" C) Fantastic photo of Elvis' 1966 Rolls Royce Phantom V, nicely parked near its beautiful companion, a 1969 six door Mercedes 600 Pullman, a replica of which also appears in the movie. The photo was taken at his house on # 144 Monovale Drive, in Los Angeles, ironically located in front of the home where his future son in law (whom he only met at a service elevator in Lake Tahoe, when he was just a 12 year old sensation), was found dead in 2009, at age 50. Didn't he shoot televisions when he didn't like the program or is that a myth? |

Here is an exact quote from the actor who played the Godfather's father in law. And I quote " I had met him on a few occasions, but we hadn't spent any time together. One night in 1971 after a show at the International, I went backstage, where he was with a group of his buddies discussing where they were going to eat. He spotted me and called me over. 'Hey, man, you ever have a peanut butter and banana sandwich, on white bread?' "I thought he was putting me on, so I played along. 'Love 'em,' I said." 'Great, man! You're coming with us!'"'Where we going?' I asked. "'San Francisco, brother" So we flew out of McCarran Airport on Elvis's private jet, landing there about an hour later. There were eight of us, and he did the ordering. An initial round of sixteen sandwiches was sucked up in minutes, washed down by gallons of lemonade. I had one. After the meal, we got back on the plane and flew back to Vegas. Once we were in his suite, he decided he wanted to watch a Western movie. A projector was set up and a 1930s oater with Hoot Gibson began. As i saw it, Elvis and his crew were whooping it up like real cowboys, and I wondered what the hell I was doing there. Then the guns came out. Elvis packed a 1942 Beretta 9 mm pistol given to him by General Omar Bradley, with the others having revolvers. He fired the first shot into a wall, and everyone followed suit as if mimmickimg the action in the movie, where Gibson was chasing a bunch of bad guys and trading shots with them. I thought a couple of live rounds would've been it, but then Elvis started overturning furniture, and the guys divided up into two sides. I ducked behind a couch as everyone hid behind cover and traded shots. They aimed high, but bullets can travel through walls, and who knows where they could've wound up. Within a minute, the "Gunfight in Suite 3000" was over and everyone repaired to the bar to get loaded, pun intended. I stayed a while, but I couldn't hear a damn thing because I was temporarily deaf from the gunfire. But I love Elvis. He was unique for what he was, he was statuesque" Actor Gianni Russo, in pages 117-118 of his autobiography entitled "Hollywood Godfather: My Life in the Movies and the Mob", published by St. Martin's Press. The Baretta being mentioned, a 1942 Model M1934 9 mm Corto Caliber Pistol (Known as .380 ACP in Modern Day) was later gifted by Elvis to his then girfriend Barbara Leigh and she auctioned it in 2018, for US$51,000, the buyer being the Graceland Museum where it can be now seen. |

Impulse control and intelligence are correlated. There's a reason Colonel Parker called him "the boy", he had the mental age of 12. |

Most people who were NOT born in a house without a bathroom, and who are provocateurs and pompous by nature, think they can lecture others on why a person, or a group of persons, act the way they do. But I dont buy it.... |
